Heart balloons

Image
Covid lockdown, stay at home and long weekend on top of that. I had got a paper quilling kit around an year back to try my hand at it. Took out that kit as it was long weekend, found a few ideas from the net and sat down to try them. This is a card made out of heart balloons that have been made by paper quilling. My elder daughter kept rolling the strips and I gave them the required shape. Paper quilling interested my elder one, while the colourful paper strips attracted the younger one's attention.

Paper fishes

Another one in this time of lockdown. No matter how much you engage the kids, one activity gets over and they start feeling bored. It wasn't even a weekend. But I had some time after finishing off my office work and we sat down to me these cute fishes. This was a quick activity needing just a paper, scissors , glue and water colours. Again I always emphasise on using water colours as that keeps my daughter engaged and she feels happy while painting. She also likes shading,so we've made the fishes in 2 colours.
