Heart balloons

Covid lockdown, stay at home and long weekend on top of that. I had got a paper quilling kit around an year back to try my hand at it.

Took out that kit as it was long weekend, found a few ideas from the net and sat down to try them.



This is a card made out of heart balloons that have been made by paper quilling. My elder daughter kept rolling the strips and I gave them the required shape.

Paper quilling interested my elder one, while the colourful paper strips attracted the younger one's attention.

My 5-year old has sessions in their preschool wherein they need to choose a topic of their choice, get the object to school and talk about it. This week, she wanted to talk about a rainbow, so we made one on paper for her to take home. Rainbow is so colourful. Making one on the paper attracts kids.
